Gumball Dave 02:36
GUMBALL DAVE Pass the straw, you know I’m gonna need it, not the plastic that I want it’s the trouble in my breathing. Puzzled task can’t even close a door, losing all my teeth from trying to kiss the floor. Grease the trap, put the fire in the oven, brain on the back burner got a new one coming. Sterile splash, you can’t stop it now riding this ship to all goes down Casino car, crushed shells in my clam chowder Casino car, either way either one won’t get too far Dave says it, we see it, got no proof but we all believe it

WALK BETWEEN THE DROPS I'll invent this treadmill towards the sun Just to get the rest of this workday done But before this horrid week is through I think I'll crack my cranium in two So I now I've seen im past the future. Past the future, I don't know know why it moves so slow. So then I ended up back where I hate the most Sandwiched in between the Son and Holy Ghost Is there anywhere that you'd recommend So that I may become Past the future past the future I don't know why it moves so slow And staying down the highway 40 feet from me Appeared the oldest light that you could ever see And in the moments where I felt I was the tops I earned the hubris to walk between the drops And when I thought this nightmare was almost done I woke up on my treadmill towards the sun

SOUR APPLE JAM Stale counter banter gets the frosting and the flour drinking weekends til the company coops Side of sour apple, cooing cat will start to grapple chasing ghosts or is it shadows and light Hardwood or the tile, screaming parent, screaming child, cards flying like it’s World War 2 Hold me even tighter like a pair of rusty pliers in an attic never needing a use It’s all biscuits and bread, no meat in this stew... Tailored to the tipping, honest tongue will catch the licking sneaking gossip into candy stoned truth Cornered in a casket with a top hat and a rabbit hope you’re hopping right off of the roof It’s all biscuits and bread, no meat in this stew... Border like a collie stretching towards the woods of holly script popping like a new balloon.

CONCRETE CURING Stuff me full of cotton balls and Mount me to your bedroom wall Like a wolverine crawling cross the ceiling I am not the first to stay And I won't be the last to say that it won't mean anything unless you bleed a little Hurt me in a decent way I'm crawling in your trebuchet Like a total goon sailing cross the moonroof Cut me down and tape me back I'm suffering a heart attack When you say it won't mean anything at all unless you bleed a little Have a nice trip, enjoy the fall unless you've seen little I've got a promised land somewhere beneath the sand Milk and honey though you cannot breathe unless you've been a Submarine Like a submarine

SQUARE METAL NAILS Square metal nails raining down on my grave Still not the weather that’s upsetting me today A thought, a fragrance that I thought had gone away Not exactly clever poetry just trying to relate Share my secrets trying to blend in, common themes like love were trying to stay close to. It’s an anger that I’m fighting or a hunger that I’m chasing, wrap my arms around the death that is embracing. Fearless the notion that you could know, if and how you’ll gasp when your lover drops the wardrobe. All could be a ruse I’m screaming in my head and even then my hands are shaking hammer on the night stand Falling forward seems unlikely so unfitting so unlike me The path behind is a comfort I’m residing Cradle my ego, color me blind, cast me in feathers and force me to fly Feed me a new life, a brand new design, sew me right next to the next fool in line All could be a ruse Square metal nails

AIRPORT (CELLULAR LOT) Its always early, I never know if I'm awake I check my phone screen, looks like I burned another day Look in the mirror, scratching that dumb look off my face Oh my mistake I didn't mean to be awake Oh my mistake Oh good, he's breathing, thought for a second I was dead But the only thought in my head is I'm getting sleepy, I guess its time to head to bed. Oh my mistake I didn't mean to be awake Oh my mistake Another sunset Another sunrise again

VOLCANIC SCENIC OVERLOOK(Exit 13) Exit 13 is just here up ahead Parking overflowing with the caskets of the dead Deadly little dreamer, sacrificial shit Ironed out the details with a little blood and spit Open the doorway and watch the world explode People prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed for volcano Gasping Saints gathered round the cross praying praying praying praying pray to make it stop Give them the gold back x4 Now the hells cape becomes a scenic overlook The children and the cameras recording everything it took Give them the gold back x4 Volcano!

Straw Dawn 02:17
STRAW DAWN He gave his heart to the army lost his mind to the war meet me at the edge of the world he said it’s not too late to be what you might have been she fell in love with the madness incorruptible to the core I know you bought your ticket she said Forever knowing the score Three cheers for a straw dawn A clever game with a lonely pawn He sold his soul to the system Charlatan emotions run ashore Warships on enemy seas Dreaming of the edge of the world he says, Three cheers for a straw dawn A clever game with a lonely pawn Three cheers for a straw dawn A clever game with a lonely pawn Three cheers for a straw dawn A clever game with a lonely pawn

RUBY CITY Suppose its a kick in the teeth when Your whole life dovetailed towards the weekend A schedule full of holes I suppose thats how it goes Well I guess, well who knows Ive held on for the first couple months though The season changed and it left me in escrow Not to be alarmed but I think the alarms are sounding out now getting loud If theres really someone up there breathing Maybe craft up some better believing 3 bedrooms in a good neighborhood but its all underground well look at me now, look at us now Locked in the tower Cover those rubies with your eyes, i'm alright You lit your ship on fire In the middle of the Nile Locked in the basement Cover your eyes with a tall drink of sunlight You let your mouth keep running In the middle of the night 3 days 3 weeks 3 months 3 years I let my time keep running out I let my days keep spilling out I let my time get away I let my time run away I keep my time on hemmoraging out as the past gets away and imn I let myself get- Locked in the tower Cover those rubies with your eyes, i'm alright You lit your ship on fire In the middle of the Nile Locked in the basement Cover your eyes with a tall drink of sunlight You let your mouth keep running In the middle of the night

LOW FLYING JETS I never expected to find myself in the middle of this field of dead things But sometimes you just don’t wind up at the destination you set out for A little extra time to rest your eyes would be nice A little extra time to have a nice dream To place your cutaneous membrane in direct contact with soft packed snow As low flying jets pass above you silhouetted by the full moon’s glow A little extra time to rest your eyes would be nice A little extra time to have a nice dream A mother knows what’s best so I’ll tell you this A little extra care makes all the difference Whatever you say, mom I know, I know Whatever you say, mom Can I watch TV now I’ll do whatever you say

WYNTYRBYRN (ATLANTIS LANDED) Look at the sea, gaze in wonder. No longer deceived, I'm a part of this whole world. I went to extend my hand and got pulled on in. Gills on my neck breathing salty water. Under the sea, Atlantis shining bright. I still couldn't see to make it out that night. So, I swam and pulled with rope in my teeth. Atlantis landed in the ocean breeze. Mermaids grew human legs, siren's sang. And Poseidon came to shake my hand, it was lovely. Above the sea, filled with new ideals. The citizen's freed to settle on crowded land. And I still believe what I did was wrong. But now they can see how to fuck our fucked up world.

SPRUNG SPRING I need to see February through before my brain destroys me What a day for staying in Junebugs sticking to the window Sky is burning no one is home What a waste of carnations Sprung is springing birds are singing Only covers, so annoying Several days of medicine After all I love the fall but Spring has sprung I missed your call I need a ride for later on I promised you I'd find a job where I won't leave for several seasons Contemplating honest reasons Waiting to the other shoe To fall or spring Oh I'm staying in Try again some other season
